What's new on the FSX & Prepar3D Flight Simulator Scenery list. Pearson International Airport (CYYZ), Toronto, Ontario, Canada update. By Ray Smith. I have given this airport a total makeover designed with the latest version of ADE (v1.40) with 2 files made only for the FSX default airport: one with the Crosswind rwy's operating, now activated by ADE where all 5 rwy's will be used for takeoff/landing and one as the default rwy operation: assigned parking.
REF: CYYZ Airport - I am the guy who started the ball rolling on this. I live near Toronto airport, and after 6 months of chipping away with the GTAA airport Authority, I managed to get airside, and took over 850 HD pictures for this project. Whils't I can not divulge any more information at this time, all I will say is that Toronto Airport is being created as we speak. More to come in the next few months. This should be a project to watch and buy once it's done, as the details I took and have paid close attention to - for example: Winter Operations: Icing bays, dont get utilized on VATSIM, i paid close attention to things like this, and when it's in full swinging action - I bet it will be used for winter OPS more and more. Also, MonTreal by FlyTampa is another to watch out for.
Some good canadian sceneries to be released soon. REF: CYYZ Airport - I am the guy who started the ball rolling on this. I will be getting both Dubai and Toronto!DanielToo bad you won't be able to fly between the two.LOL -Most likely one of the reasons why many developers have not done a Toronto YYZ is because that airport has been under major renovation over the past 10 years. They tore down the old Terminal 1 and built a new Terminal 1:Probably it was best to wait to do this airport when the construction was finished. It looks great as I was there about a year ago.Cheers.

I would much rather fly in a Cathay Pacific 777-300ER than an Air Canada 777-300ER (VHHH-CYYZ in real life-not flight sim!). I would like to try Air Canada one day though. But they would have to make an attractive price for me to board their aircraft. What are your views? Have you been on Air Canada?
